Sunday morning. 7:45am. 27F. No wind. Feels like 27F. Sunrise. 12 miles. 1:59:23. Feels good to be alive.
The first pic is looking out our bedroom window just before my run. The second pic is a mile and a half away where the fancy homes begin; we live back amongst the cheap seats.

12 miles in no adverse conditions, cool enuf not to get too hot, start before 8 and finish before 10in the morning, time enuf to come in and make coffee and drink it after your run, how much closer to heaven can you get? The WDWM would be close to heaven too (flat and distracting! and not too hot in Orlando in January), if they didn't scare you into thinking you had to be there at 4:30 am and they didn't actually start it at 6 am (7:00 am would be fine). That was a fine run you did. Your suspense is killing me.
That is perfect for a 12 miler!
27F, even windless, is still freakin' cold, if you ask me. But I understand those glorious mornings when no one's around to see your nose running, or your feet running for that matter. Not even the families huddled in the warmth of their McMansions. Those are great runs, for sure.
Hey Rich--Happy Holidays!!
if we ran together, you'd only have to hang around 1/2 hour or so waiting for me to finish!
sweet photos. you're a lucky guy!
That looks very nice!
