Deal Or No Deal

Would you run this race? Why or why not?

Personally, I'm a little more grounded -- though I could stand to lose some weight. I guess this woman's never heard of a deferment. (And NASA's not passing up an opportunity to try and improve its astronauts' image!)

I'd get crazy to run on a treadmill, I love the ground, the open spaces (yes she runs in the space but I mean a different one), the sea.......

If there's a will, there's a way . . . it's not really my cup of tea, but if I were the one on the space station, and I was itchin' to run a marathon, and I'd qualified for Boston . . . I guess I gotta give her points for being an advocate for her own cause.

I like the ground myself too, but if someone were to send me to space - why not.

As long as I don't have to wear a diaper I would give it a try. If you tether the restraints just right, you could "fly" on the treadmill with a light footstrike - maybe.

I bet it's probably easier on your joints to run it in space than on earth!! I would love to run it, but the treadmill would have to face a window where it'd look like I was running around the world as we passed it!

Sign me up for it. It looks fun! Hopefully this will bring more positive press to our great sport.

Cool article.

I'd rather run a marathon on the moon!
