20K / 4

I've had enough of this slump. It's starting to warm up. It's time to get on the running bandwagon again. I need motivation to run. I need some goals. I'll do a marathon later this year, but for now, I'm going to have some fun with 5Ks for a change. I signed up for four last night, on March
3rd, 17th, 31st and April 7th. There's still two more in April that I want to run, but I'm pretty sure I won't be ending on the SkinnyDipper Sun Run 5K (thankfully, no race pics on their website; it's painful to even think about it).

I think we're all in the slump. I need my race to get here soon so I can get motivated again, too. Looks like you've got a busy schedule, though!

I am really disappointed that you're not doing the SkinnyDipper. The price is righteous. The random drawing could change your life. It sounds perfect; except for the part where you have to run through woods. Who knows just how clear those paths are. Just imagine a low set of bramble branches sticking out into the trail. Ouch!

I'm kind of in a slump too. Have eaten way, way too many doughnuts over the preceding 6 weeks. And I was sick on Sunday, so no long run. Can't wait to hear how your 5Ks go! I bet you can break 24:00 easy-peasy.

Runner Susan told me I should contact you about places to run in Plano. I'm in Houston and typically when I go to Dallas, I run out at White Rock Lake, but my newest client is in Plano. Any advice on where to go, preferrably where there are other runners? On a side note, all this talk about needing motivation, just read The Greatest Marathoner and it will be all the motivation you'll need. Thanks again for any help on places to run.

So what do you think they give out in lieu of Tshirts at the SkinnyDipper run?!
